dress的用法詳解
(1) vt. vi.(給---)穿衣服
get dressed 穿上衣服(動(dòng)作)
dress sb. 給別人穿衣服(動(dòng)作)
dress oneself 自己穿上衣服(動(dòng)作)
dress up (in) 穿上---盛裝打扮,以---裝飾
After the bath, he dressed (himself). 洗完澡后,他穿上衣服。
be well/badly/smartly--- dressed 穿著漂亮/襤褸/帥氣(狀態(tài))
She hurriedly dressed her son and drove him to the nearest hospital.
她匆忙地給兒子穿上衣服,開(kāi)車(chē)送她到最近的醫(yī)院。
The boy got dressed quickly and telephoned for help. 那男孩趕快穿上衣服打電話求援。
He is smartly dressed when I saw him. 我在宴會(huì)上見(jiàn)到他時(shí),他衣著帥氣。
(2) dress 表示穿衣服的動(dòng)作,過(guò)去分詞dressed 作be的表語(yǔ)表狀態(tài),但get dressed 表動(dòng)作,相當(dāng)于dress (oneself)。
She likes to be dressed in red. 她喜歡穿紅色衣服。
(3)dress, put on, wear, have on
dress 表動(dòng)作,跟人作賓語(yǔ)。
put on表動(dòng)作,賓語(yǔ)是衣服、鞋帽襪、手套、眼鏡等。
wear表狀態(tài),賓語(yǔ)范圍很廣,可以是衣服類(lèi)名詞,還可指佩帶首飾、手表、徽章以及留發(fā)型、胡須等。
have on是靜態(tài),多用于口語(yǔ)。
Put on more clothes or you’ll get cold. 多穿點(diǎn)衣服,否則你會(huì)冷的。
Miss Li is wearing a yellow dress today. 李老師今天穿一件黃色的連衣裙。
She always had a red coat on. 她總是穿一件紅色的外套。
