第二節(jié):One Possible Version
Dear Mr. Johnson,
I am feeling so sorry that I didn’t get to the school gate on time yesterday afternoon.
I did remember the appointment yesterday. However, I felt a little tired after lunch, so I decided to take a nap. When I woke up, it was five past two. So I hurried out to take a bus, which got caught in the heavy traffic on the half way. Finally, I arrived at the school gate only to find that all of you had left.
I felt terribly sorry because I know nobody likes being kept waiting. It’s my fault for being late. I should have set the alarm clock.
Hope you can accept my apology.
Yours,
Li Hua
