A: The boss was bawling out Miss Jones for some figure-juggling errors that cost the company a bunch. He showed he plays with a clean deck and admitted it was his mistake. The boss was so pleased and he gave him a raise.
B: He is a real aboveboard guy!

straight down the line: 絕對誠實(shí)的。
on the level: 誠實(shí)的;可靠的;坦率地。
bawl out: 亂哄哄地爭吵;大聲嚷出。
juggle: 篡改，玩花招。
play with a clean deck: 在玩牌的時(shí)候，如果是“clean”的，那意味著它是誠實(shí)沒有貓膩的。這個(gè)短語在口語中用來形容人是正直誠實(shí)的或者交易是公平的。
